Learning Support at Narromine Christian School is provided to students needing directed help with their schooling program.  Students participate in benchmark testing three times a year to help teachers determine how a student is travelling academically and whether further support is required.  

At Narromine Christian School students have three tiers of support that can be accessed should there be a need.  Specific programs that are currently in use are:

    Minilit

    Read Naturally Live

    Corrective Reading

    Number Worlds

    Specific teacher organised Literacy and Numeracy activities.

 

Students with extreme special needs and who may be working one or two stages below year level will be placed on an Individual Learning Plan that will be developed by the class teacher, learning support teacher, curriculum coordinator and parent.
