As a school with a family focus, parental involvement plays a major part in keeping our school tone and family atmosphere. There are many ways in which parents/guardians can become involved in our school’s day to day operation. The following areas are those in which we would like you to volunteer some of your time.

Classroom assistant – reading or craft helpers. Home and School Committee, canteen, school garden, special event helpers. Talk to your child’s teacher or the principal if you are seeking to be more involved in your child’s education or the day to day operations of school services. We thank you in advance for the time and energy you give to assist our school to run effectively.

Parents/guardians will also be invited to participate as audience, community contacts, and assistants in some school programs. Your voluntary efforts will improve facilities, school spirit and student attitudes. While we value the involvement of parents in our school it is a requirement that all parents have a current working with children check (WWCC) number, that is verified by the school before any volunteer positions can begin.
